MUSIC THAT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE
(SO FAR) - BOOK DESIGN (2020)

For a traditional book design and building course, I took the task of making my own book instead of redesigning an existing book for the quarter-long project. I used the opportunity to make a personal musical time capsule of the music that has made an impact on my life and present it in a modern way. Using essential book design knowledge of canons, binding, GREP, and inDesign techniques, I constructed every unique page in the book from scratch.

This book was entirely printed, sewn, and bound by myself including making the hardcover case and the dust jacket design. I used a diagonal halftone screen photo treatment to add dimension and style to the photos
